Edith Falls
We spent a night in the Nitmiluk National Park at Edith Falls. The campground had everything you could want except power ~ but that didn't matter as the night sky was huge. We went swimming in the Falls a bit chilly but otherwise clear and refreshing. We could have spent a few more nights there but we had booked a site in another caravan park in Katherine.

Back to Darwin
We arrived back in Darwin on the 26th June at 3.30am ~ Darwin has an unrestricted landing time so you can arrive or land at any time night or day.
We stayed in Darwin until the 1st of July and then moved on to Crab Claw Island Fisherman's Resort. We were told this was a great place and it certainly was ~ pristine and beautiful. Unfortunately it was at the end of a very long stretch of unsealed and corrugated road. We spent 2 days there and were sorry to leave the Island but not the road.
Bali
We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Bali. We stayed in a suite on the executive floor of the Nikko Bali Resort and Spa at Nusa Dua ~ we were so spoilt with choices of 5 restaurants, 5 pools and of course the executive club (food and drinks all day) what a way to go!!!!!!!. We went to Kuta and we could have been anywhere in Australia as there were so many Aussies there. The markets were very good and after lots of bartering we came away with sunnies and clothes. Pam really enjoyed the bartering and warmed to the whole idea. One of our photos shows where we had lunch for our anniversary. It was right on the beach at Jimbaran Bay and we had a fresh (live) BBQ seafood lunch cooked just for us. Then we had a small indonesian band for us as we sat and ate lunch ~ it was just pure magic. That night back at the resort we were involved in some traditional Balinese dance show and dinner.
